No, just 3 of us. Wife and daughter are pharmacists, luckily wife locums, so she swapped out most of her shifts and daughter studies further at the moment.

There’s a smaller shopping centre less than a km from us and a huge one 2-3km away.

“faucet”... No-one here would know what that is.
Until the end of apartheid you could drink from any tap in South Africa.
With looting and mismanagement things deteriorated, so best ask in the area. 
Still safe in all cities.
