“faucet”... No-one here would know what that is.
Until the end of apartheid you could drink from any tap in South Africa.
With looting and mismanagement things deteriorated, so best ask in the area. 
Still safe in all cities.

I forgot where I saw it, however recently MIT students had hacked into a buildings lighting and played Tetris on the side of the building with their lights.
