I grew up in a house with a metal roof, very loud with heavy rain.  However with light rain, very nice to hear.  I miss that sound.

The area that gets hail has mostly metal roofs.
Luckily that is a 1000 miles from where I live.

The sound level of rain will depend on the thickness of the ceiling board and the type of insulation in the ceiling.

We had a barn growing up with metal roofs.  When it rained, it was so loud that you could barely hear one another talking.

Hey bad kitty, what did you do this weekend?

I just got back in, we ended up doing a quick camping trip.  Glamping more like it!  Tired and watching a little news.

Hey Pinkey,
Wife worked Saturday, I cooked.
Today we had people over, I did a braai (barbecue) for lunch, pancakes for supper.
So glamping took your creativity away from you?

Oh boy, love pancakes for dinner!  Haven't had that in some time.

Yeah, it was a relaxing camp, honestly I took the time to just lay in the hammick and RELAX with my magazines.

What did you grill?
