Yes, to start with. I find my L-358 with the radio trigger is so easy to use and surprisingly accurate, I do a quick trigger to check my guess, and it usually turns out well.

Sometimes. I think it works best as a note pad, to recall times and places. The shots seldom reward the PP effort.
