What do you take photos?

Heard some interesting answers on this question on a friends FB page.

So many said to create memories.  I agree, but I enjoy and aspire to create fine art.

Do you mean "WHY do you take photos?" or "What do you take photos of?"?

Many reasons and many things.

I agree, JaneK.  I do the same thing....it's both to create memories and art.  There's the creative aspect of photography....and I also do needlework; some of my photos will end up as cross-stitch projects.

I take photos just cause I love to see what comes of what I shoot.  I take photos of mostley animals.  I love their un-possed expressions and wildness.

Memory keepers of something I saw that I found semi interesting. Sometimes just snaps to remind me that there is something I want to check out at a different time. Also shooting is what I use as a stress reliever.

I take photo's to create something but to learn something too. Photography is teaching me to be patient, open to opinions, and to think out of the box.

Capturing a moment. Not perfect - but always exclusive! A window to a moment that never was and never again will be.
