Must have equipment and accessories for beginners?

What equipment or accessories would you strongly recommend for beginners? Especially for somebody, like myself, who enjoys nature and wildlife photography. I photograph landscapes, seascapes, fauna and flora. And I love to photography waterfalls.

Beyond the camera and lenses, what do you think all beginner photographers should have? So far, all I have is one memory card (this is enough for me right now), 3 batteries, a tripod and of course a microfiber cloth to clean the lens. The few things that I plan to get in the very near future - wireless remote, lens hood, and polarizing filter. Anything else that are "must haves" for beginners"

Also any recommendations on the items I listed above would be helpful. I use a Canon Rebel 7T.

If you are going to shoot waterfalls, you might want a neutral density filter, so you can take long exposures of waterfalls or to make clouds blurry.. I assume you have a camera bag.

Thanks! I have looked at the neutral density filters and yes I think I will get one of those too. And yes I do have a camera bag.

One other thing I would heavily recommend is plenty of micro fiber cloths to wipe the mist from your lens if shooting at waterfalls.

Canon 7D, 15-85mm, 18-55mm, 70-200mm, 100mm Macro, Sigma 120-300mm, Speedlite 430EX II

A bad day at the race track is better than a good day in the office
