No matter what, Make sure you are in contact with the pilot through the intercom system. The wind noise will make it too hard to communicate otherwise and work out a system of signals; "up left wing" "turn right" etc

I have seen aerial pictures that are truly amazing. I would like to get those kind of shots, but I am afraid of flying.

shoot away from the sun and if yo don't have an open window use a rubber lens hood to keep reflections out of the pic
