You will need to down size your photos for the web. You can only upload a specific size to begin with. Your album on this site only allows an X amount of space. If you filled up that space, then you no longer can upload any more pictures. You will have to delete the ones you uploaded, resize and re upload.

But I have not uploaded any but my profile picture and how does one down size a photo?? Doesn't that mess it up?

In your editing software you should be able to RESIZE to a smaller size then place those in a separate album on your hard drive . then upload to the site from that album

You might very well be able to resize right in the camera as a last resort. Check your menu settings on your Canon. I found it for the first time on mine...:woohoo:

Did your camera come with software? Usually the Canons come with a disk called "Digital Photo Professional" or "Canon digital solutions". You'll be able to downsize with no loss of quality with those.

I will check the BOX for that - I am not sure...

Once they have been deleted from the card - you can down size them from a portable hard drive??

Well I would hope, when they get deleted from the card, they would be on your computer. If you have no photo editing software. Download gimp or Picasa they both are free. Open the program, open the photo, resize the photo to be smaller, save the photo as something different, not over riding the original photo. Come to the site, upload the photo you just resize.

Yes. It is usually called "Re-size", then do a "Save As" into a new folder (like PT) to preserve your original and send the new one.
