How Many Stops

If I use a .6ND and .09ND on top of a polarized filter, how many stops of that will that be

I don't have an answer but I wonder why you would want to stack those filters? If you use the ND's why would you need the Pol ? I would imagine that you would lose at least 3 stops.

Here is how you figure it
.6= 2 stops
.9= 3stops
polarized=2 stops

So a total of 7 stops

All polarizers are the same in what they do, but there are differences. Some are linear (meant for older manual focus cameras) & the newer ones are called circular (for use with AF cameras) . Some are slim in design & are meant for wide angle lenses to prevent vignetting.
As for the OP question, the more glass surfaces involved, the more image quality suffers.
