What is the best method, e.g. a software package, you have found to organize your photos?

I use primarily use Apple's Aperture. i also use Adobe Lightroom on one of my laptops. Both of these offer not only organizational tools, but powerful adjustment tools as well.

If your on a Mac, iPhoto does an excellent job of photo management. Google's Picasa is another great choice. It's free and is available on multiple platforms.

I have used "Breeze Browser Pro" for several years; although it is an old version, it works extremely well, i.e. it is intuitive (works similar to Windows Explorer), works on all Windows OSs, is easy to use, and "was developed by photographers for photographers." I have never had a problem with it. For mor info., go to: www.breezesys.com/

I hope this helps,

Another vote for Picasa...I've used it for years now, ever since it came out. Mostly for organizing & emailing photos, but I also do light editing on shots that don't need much.
