Hi Robbie
Now I am interested to know if this is IR film or an
IR filter on you digital camera?
I am interested in purchasing a 67mm IR filter and wonder
if the some $250.00 is worth it.
Thanks in advance,
GT . . . .

Thanks Gary.this was shot with a 665nm Ir converted D200.The 665nm filter is more condusive to color but was processed in Color Efex4 and Viveza2.
Try Ebay for the Hoya filter,$250 is way too high.Recently lifepixel has conversions for that price.
Not all DSLR are good for filter base Ir,the earlier Nikons are great though plus the lenses might produce 'hot spot'.
There is a link here with all the processing required, has it on my home computer.
Hope this helps.

As usual it's stunning. Reminds me a bit of using a red filter with B&W film, but this takes it over the top. When I was using a shared darkroom another photographer was doing ir but not these fabulous landscapes. (Oh yeah, because there aren't any landscapes like this where we live LOL). But seriously, you have a lot of talent.
