They are snapshots. I'm not going to take time to adjust perspective and all that. They are slice of life images. Nothing more or nothing less. I don't think we need to make a silk purse out of a sows ear every time. The axe image was made with the camera on my side as I was walking by. I had no idea what I had until later. I was just playing around to see what I could get.Hassner wrote: I like the first shot. Too many people on the second shot.
Too keep things simple in a square format, try and keep the lines parallel to the edge.
If the bottom line was straight, I would have LOVED this shot.
I know, the background would have been different if you did that.
Maybe try and tweak the perspective in Photoshop?
Love the dark textured even background.

My post work is done in Lightroom for the initial work then I finish in Photoshop. I do my B&W conversions in Photoshop 90% of the time, LR for the other 10%. I don't own any other photo software or filters. My processing just uses various techniques available in Photoshop. I used to have the LucisArt filter but it doesn't work in these later versions of Photoshop. (Hint) Google Calvin Hollywood. Check out his stuff.garyrhook wrote:

Don't you hate when that happens?
The more I look at #1, the more I like it as is.
You may have commented elsewhere, but what are you using for PP here? If you don't mind.
[edit] For what it's worth, they're far better than snapshots.
Proud? Just because someone posts something doesn't make them proud of the images. It could be a subject or moment they found interesting or amusing. Did you ever think that maybe I don't consider your suggestion as making the image better?Hassner wrote: If you weren't proud of your 'snapshots', then you would not have posted them here. If they're good, why not spend 3 minutes and try and make them better? You already did the effort of posting of posting them here?
