Mr Leopard

Hi guys, as a beginner I focus most of my learning into people photography but today I took the advantage of visiting the Zoo for the first time with my 20 months old boy. I've took two shots of this Leopard and did minor touching in LR( that I still have to learn). Those shots where f3.5, Aperture mode, exp comp +2/3, ISO..I think 800 or 1000...speed, who knows( more than 200th) This guy was pretty still and I wish I would had my 800mm 1.4 lens with me. I am learning the ropes of black and white, so any advise or cruel critique are always welcome. Thank you!!!

Very nice kitty, but the backgrounds may be a little too busy for B&W.  As for LR, you could try applying some deep color "filters" before the B&W conversion.  There may be a color that bumps that background up or down for better separation.

Thank you Kelly for the advice. I will try to play with some filters. Great advice as always.
