Wide angle lens for Canon mount

Canon users, what wide angle lens are you using?  I've used both the 10-22mm and 10-18mm.  IMO the 10-20mm is far better on a variety of levels.

Just curious thread.  I'm getting my oil changed now and have my laptop, so spending some far missed time on this site!

Non Canon I would suggest the Sigma 10-20mm, not bad lens for the money.  Very good value IMO.

(2) Canon 7D, Canon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS, 17-55 f/2.8 IS USM, 50mm f/1.4 USM, 85mm f/1.8 USM, Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 HSM, Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6

IMO, stick with Canon glass.  Sigma is a good company and they make an OK lens, first option should always be the brand of camera body.  Canon is going to know it's cameras better than anyone else.  Same for Nikon and Sony.

Canon 5D Mark II, 30D, 40D, 50 1.2L, 16-35 2.8L Mark II, 24-105 4L IS, 24-70 2.8L, 70-200 2.8L IS, 85 1.8, 4 x 580 EX(II)

Sigma makes better primes than zooms.

I'd stick with Canon only with 'L' glass, I prefer Sigma lenses on my Canon Camera's...

I've found them to be as good if not better quality and a better price too...

Canon 16mm - 35mm f/4 IS is a superb lens and highly underrated. Not as wide on an APS-C but just as good on that format as well. Sharp from corner to corner at all apertures. 77mm filter thread for ND, CP, and IR filters. focuses down to 11" at all focal lengths for a nice wide angle close up ~1:4 lens too.

:agree:
Got one myself (with a 60D) - Very good buy indeed.
Only Canon - lens in my bag is a 2:8 / 50 mm., all others are Tamron or Sigma.

Barrel distortion on it's brutal though.
