Canon make a small mirrorless camera?
Okay - she wants a Canon of some sort ... has she considered lenses? how many? and cost? ... is she an avid, keen 'tog ? or a weekender? or a holiday snaps person? ... is she upgrading from a phone camera and wants better optics?
To me, I would consider all these points before committing to a camera / system / whatever
I would also bear in mind that =if= she does not need a full dSLR / mirrorless then maybe a fixed-lens superzoom would supply her with all she needs as an all-in-one unit
