shoulder straps

I was wondering if anybody has any experience with the Upstrap shoulder strap? I was considering using one with my 5D Mark 2 and 70-200 lens, it seems most people like them as a shoulder strap I was also wondering if it can be used as a across the chest strap?

I was given on as a gift. I put it on one of my cameras and tried to use it. The strap does exactly as advertised ... it does not slip when on your shoulder. The thin straps versus the wide heavy rubber pad make for a combination that I did not care for.... the thin strap part would twist over and over ... which made me a little nuts. The strap and thinner web part are very strong, no complaints there. I finally gave up on this strap and went back to the Op/Tech straps that I really like.

I doubt that this strap would work well as an "across the chest" type of strap.
