Hewlett Packard HP Designjet Z2100 24" Photo Printer

How crisp is the print quality from this printer? I have local car club that wants to hire me to take photos of all 121 member cars and they have indicated that nearly 60 have committed to one poster size image of their car.

I priced this job to get it, plus many of the car owners are younger and don't have a ton of extra cash. So if the club guaranteed all 121 cars would pay $59.00 each, I would do the job. I'm also charging $19 per poster. For each car, the owner will get 15 shots of their car.

I'm looking for a high quality printer that can print high resolution poster size images 24x36". This HP caught my attention: www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home...&Q=&is=REG&A=details

I would be interested to hear your opinions.

$59x121= $7139
$19x60=$1140

Total = $8279- $2979 (printer)= $5300 profit, plus I'll have a printer for future jobs.

Honestly, I doubt anyone here would have that printer to give you honest user feedback on how good the print quality would be. IMO, it looks like an excellent printer and you probably won't have any issues. Read up on as many reviews as you can get. See if that printer is on Amazon, I have found people tend to leave more reviews on Amazon. If you buy the printer, please post your pro and cons on it.

That is one heck of a printer! That is surely a pro/commercial size printer. Sounds like you have a good gig going on. I'd love to see your reviews after the fact also.
