I'm good on a PC, however Mac I'm not sure.  How do you permanently delete and remove applications from a Mac?

Go to your applications folder and find the application you want to remove.

Some applications, when they're installed, also install a removal app. ( For example, if you're running Photoshop, you'll see both the Photoshop application and the "Uninstall Photoshop" app.)  If your application in question has one of those, run that.  It will remove all the hidden stuff.

If there's no "uninstall" app., simply select the app you want to get rid of and drag it to the trash.  Empty the trash and ...poof, gone!

There are not enough words in the English language to describe how asinine this methodology is. How removal of an application or ejecting of a disk equates to binning something is just beyond me. I will never understand how they crafted such an illogical GUI on top of such an elegant operating system.

Sorry. I could not help myself. Move along. Nothing to see here.
