How to clean Macbook keyboard without messing up your computer?

My Macbook keyboard could use a good cleaning.  But when I try to wipe off the keys with any pressure, of course it turns on or just gets all messed up.  So how can you clean these?

Pretty sure the new MacBooks you don't have access to the battery.  Not easily at least.

Cleaning a MacBook keyboard can be a bit tricky, but with some care, you can do it without any issues. Here's a simple guide for you:
  1. Power Off: Always start by shutting down your MacBook and unplugging it. It's a good idea to give it a few minutes to cool down as well.
  2. Stay Away from Liquids: Don't pour any liquids directly on the keyboard! MacBooks aren't fans of surprise showers.
  3. Soft, Lint-Free Cloth: Get yourself a soft, lint-free cloth (like those used for glasses). Lightly dampen it with distilled water, and wring out any excess moisture. Gently wipe down the keys and the surface.
  4. Disinfecting? If you want to disinfect, you can slightly dampen the cloth with a solution of 70% isopropyl alcohol and 30% water. Again, don’t let it get too wet. Wipe gently!
  5. Compressed Air: To get out any stubborn crumbs or dust, use a can of compressed air. Hold the can at a 75° angle and use short bursts, moving side to side. This helps push out any dirt hiding between the keys.
  6. Avoid Abrasive Materials: Don't use anything abrasive, like paper towels or rough cloths, as they might scratch the surface.
  7. Dry Completely: Before you turn on your MacBook, make sure it's completely dry. It's a good idea to wait a bit just to be safe.
