Just shot my first RAW photo shoot and i need some help with it

I just did this photo shoot in raw and most of the photos came out pixelated after i was done editing. I didn't do any editing to this photo all i did was just switch it to jpeg and it looks like this. I need some help.

hey Amanda, this does not look pixelated to me at all. if anything i would have turned him so so the shadow would not cover his right side, but other than that it looks very good

Thank you papa bear.....yea my cousin was saying it looked pixalated to him.....he doesnt know anything about pictures i just wanted a second opinion

Your picture does look pixcelated to me but remember JPEG is compressed so you lose info did he look at it in print or on the computer I notice that when I do work on my home computer they do look a little pixcilated but at school on the mac they look fine

Aren't all photos pixelated if you peep close enough? This looks fine to me.

On my screen this looks like a perfectly good photo, I think your cousin is trying to make himself look clever and knowledgable, unfortunately he isnt, a perfectly good photo :judge: :judge: :judge: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Switch it to jpeg using LR3? Then it was processed using default processing settings of the software (unless you've saved new ones). It may need more sharpening and noise reduction. Those are usually turned up in the default, in-camera, jpeg processing.

If it is actually pixilated instead of noisy then you have some sort of image resizing set when you are exporting to jpeg.
