WOW!!! Impressive. The folks with Adobe show you some of the features of how to edit DSLR video in Lightroom 4. This clip really shows some of the improvements that have been made and just how easy it is to make certain types of edits to your videos with the aid of Lightroom 4.

Enjoy!

It seems you can do grading pretty easily, however it makes a new file (understandable) but that's more space used up on your drive and with even a small project having 500GB of footage isn't unheard of. Still if you have a lot of clips you need to equalize in grading it will be cool... what would be AWESOME is to be able to open a clip in Premiere and have all the adjustments put on the file WITHOUT saving a new file. Sorta like opening a file in PS and having the LR settings put on it already. You see these video editing tools are good for PHOTOGRAPHERS real video editors can do all this is other programs. ;) Doesn't mean I won't use it though. anything to make things faster.

The way it works though (grabbing a frame and doing adjustments etc.) is a little bit fiddly, but whatever.

Personally I think it's ok for minor edits, but you're better off with a dedicated editor for most stuff.... I guess it's like the difference between LR and PS. LR is fine for quick edits, but if you want to get serious you open up PS. Same for video (and Premiere).

No Canon XF format support?! LAME!

I gotta say this seems to me like it's mainly a tool for photographers getting into video. They (from what I can tell) don't support some of the better VIDEO camera formats and she mention only DSLR and high end point and shoot cameras (and Sony's format).

I think perhaps they'll support most formats the normal person needs though.

The emailing thing is interesting.
