Coloring Matching Photos?

12 years 3 months ago #200895 by Brushet Pics
We're shooting weddings with 2 of the same cameras on the same white balance settings and getting results that don't match. Our exposure settings are different considering which lenses we're using (with different apertures) but does that really screw with the coloring? For example we just photographed a wedding with a rock wall in the background and the rock wall seems to be a different color across all of the pictures.

Is there a better way to shoot to where the end results will match up better or is there a color management software that helps in post processing?

Some lenses have slightly different coloring characteristics. You could run a test, use all the same exact settings and look at the results. I can't speak to any software to help match them better.

Sounds like an issue with one of the cameras....

You will not be judged as a photographer by the pictures you take, but by the pictures you show.

I think we may have to run a test. Good thing all cameras are the same brand, we can use the same lens on the cameras, same settings etc.. and see how the results come out.
