Need cost efficient Standing Desk

5 years 10 months ago #587993 by Cory J
My doctor told me I need to stand more.   Which means I need to figure something out for standing while I'm working on my computer.  Have any of you tried one of the ZipLift+ 35" Standing Desks?

This one -  www.imovr.com/imovr-ziplift-standing-desk-converter.html

Seems like the most economic solution that I could find so far.

That seems like a nice option.  I personally don't like bulk, so this wouldn't be my first option.  They have the full desk setups that are more preferred.  That way you don't have this block sitting on top of your existing desk.

FYI... This same company makes stand up desk too.  I just checked.  I hate being still at my computer, which is why I prefer to be outdoors!  But these you can even get tread mills with them.  My wife would love that.

Go with the standing desk, your office, your legs and long term, your wallet will appreciate it more!

Have you heard of Workrite?  I've never heard of that other company you mentioned.  I clicked on the link, it took me a few minutes to find their desks.  They look nice.  My neighbor just picked up a stand-up desk with one of those treadmills under it.  It's nice, really nice.  My wife wants me to get one this summer.

Workrite are nice, but IMO a tad over priced.  Much better options on the market for less.   I've not heard of this company either.  I just watched a video they have for tread mill that goes under your desk.  How slick is that?  I can toss the gym membership.  And just work and get my exercise from my desk!  :beerbang:

This would be handy after sitting on my butt for 4 hours of editing work.

Much better value than the workrite.  Priced one out a couple years back and it's just ridiculous.

You might have noticed already, when it comes to standing desks, there isn't any "cost efficient" options out there.  These sort of desks are pretty pricey.
