That's a question for the software vendor, don't you think? It would have to address the Adobe CC model (which does change version numbers every now and then) as well as the older 6.x, etc, if they so choose.

Suggest you go read their website.

It's a Lightroom tool. It's going to work with your LR catalog. LR doesn't care if you store catalog images on external drives.

Wait, so if you have your photos stored on a network, you think this program would be able to effectively scan?

Lightroom will not let you store your images on a network drive. It requires images to be local to the system. That can be an external hard drive (USB connected, or comparable) or drives within the system. But networked drives, no.

Any attached drive that is in use by your LR catalog would be accessible to this plug-in (presuming the plug-in works the way that is implied by the term "plug-in").

Pearce stated "external". That's not the same as a network drive.

And if you refer to backed-up images out on a NAS, then no. Those wouldn't be in LR, would they?

So how intelligent is this software?   Can it show you all your photos for example of "woman with glasses" or "Man smiling"?  Or are these just generic searches such as "woman" or "man"?

Not a lot of information and reviews out there older than from 2018, is this a new software?  Looks very promising.  I agree, when you look at software like this, can you imagine where things will evolve in another 5 or 10 years?

My lightroom is so disorganized.  This software doesn't even know what's going to hit it.  BTW is this trial a full version?

You know what, I too thought the company was from Europe somewhere after noticing most their people in about section where from there.  Actually taking a closer look I see what you mean.  Plus it says it!  LOL just to show, need to slow down and read.
