Signature watermark - white or match tones of image?

Will you match the tones of the image when you insert your signature watermark?  Or just keep it white or black?

I keep changing mine and all these looking back are all over the place.  Curious what others are doing.

When I had one, I used white.  But mine didn't look good.  So ditched it.

Stick with white on the darker tone images, and grey for others.

White or black, it depends on the tones of the photo.  If darker then white.  If lighter photo, black watermark.

Depends on the photo, but for the most part - white that has been turned down a little with the opacity.

Don't know how to make one that looks good.  So nothing for me.

I tried this service and wanted to like it, but the watermark looked so blah.  No pun intended, it just didn't have any character.

Just white with opacity turned down depending on existing background colors.
