Will a single license cover this on both Premier and FCPX?

Doesn't that seem like a question for Red Giant?

Was it not a question I'm allowed to ask here?  It's after hours, they (Red Giant) are closed, I was fishing (hoping for) an answer tonight.  Depending on the answer would determine if I picked this up.

Is this still a public forum where we can ask questions?  Please let me know.  I don't want to step over any lines.

Hey Rudy, not sure if you noticed, they have a free trial on their site.  I'd just sign up, take advantage of what ever trial they have, which should be long enough to get ahold of them.

Good luck!

Of course you can ask questions here. That wasn't the point, and is a bit of a misdirection. Nor could my suggestion, all nine words of it, be construed in any way to be critical. So let me expand on my prior response.

You ask a question about licensing a product. The authority on that will be the software vendor, which was my point. Anyone that answers the question here might be providing their interpretation of the license agreement, which really wouldn't be helpful, don't you think?

For example: I could point out that many software licenses are based on machine, which would imply that you could use their program in two different host programs on a single machine, and remain within the terms of the license. Assuming, of course, that they made different versions available to you under a single purchase. Which would be another question that would be answered by another user, or the company itself. I'm not sure that's helpful, however.

So, in an effort to be helpful, I suggested that you go straight to the source, which is your best bet for a valid answer. Asynchronous communication (aka email) seems good for that sort of thing.
