Best Software to use

Currently I use Lightroom but have Photoshop, Luminar, and someone told me about Adobe Bridge. What is the best to use. I like Lightroom but is there a specific software to say that is best for overall editing photos or does each one have its own pros and cons.

It's all user preference.  However you'll find many who will use Lightroom for 75% of their post work, and then fine tune their work in Photoshop.  Luminar is nice too, tons of presets.

I left adobe some 8 years ago. At that time because it is
then that, after quite painstaking research, I found alter-
natives that were both much faster and more powerful.

A converter made in Denmark and a pixel editor from
England and part of a series of three apps for pros.

All have pros and cons but as living with the trade wor-
ker, these suit the requirements the best, unmistakably.
Light is free… capturing it is not!

As stated, many can get about 80% of their work done in LR, and use PS for heavy lifting.

Affinity, Luminar, Capture One, On1RAW, and others are options. Most (all?) have free trials.

The strong value add of LR is the asset management system it includes. It's not just about the editing. There is no real equal.

I use Photoshop/Bridge for 99% of my editing, but that's because I was learning it before there was a lightroom, and I am accustomed to layers. (Old dog, no new tricks)
If I were starting out today I'm positive LR would be my primary. 
Why so serious?

After many years of Photoshop and an 8 year break I've just come back to photography and an using Capture One and Affinity. 
Not sure on Capture 1 yet but after a bit of a learning curve I'm quite pleased with Affinity - especially at the price compared to Adobe products.

I work with photos both on my smartphone and on my computer. On my smartphone, I most often use the following apps:
- Lightroom CC;
- Photoshop Fix;
- Photoshop Express;
- VSCO;
- LD;
- Nebi.

On my computer I also use different apps. I take longer to process photos on my computer. Sometimes I need to change the background on a photo or remove extra objects. I use these software:
- Photoscape;
- Lightroom;
- Movavi.

The best software is no software other than converting from RAW to JPG or Black & White.
