Very sensible. Nearly made the mistake of using Flash when putting my website together.

All good points. Should have pointed out that Flash is dead, but HTML5 is the future and offers many capabilities that Flash provided.

Now: 4 Things You Should Do In Your Tutorial Videos

1) Light the set so that your glasses don't have zombie reflections.
2) Don't wear a bright orange collegiate hoodie. Wear something a bit more neutral.
3) Don't walk off the set at the end. Fade out.
4) Use cue cards for a cheat sheet.

I didn't think about people who might be looking on their phones. Good point not to use flash. As for the tip about the phone number, I've always been alittle hesitant. I think I will bite the bullet and add it, as this video is right, I DO want them to call me and I want their business. THANK YOU for posting this video! Lots of great tips!

I don't agree with everything covered, but it was a good video

Photography-related websites are extremely guilty when it comes to using music on their sites. Seriously, it's a horrible decision to make and I completely agree with the man. You should never have any background music on your website. Ever.

Also, yes, it's not a good decision to use Flash on your website for many reasons. Firstly, some people may have to download the flash plugin. Flash will sometimes cause browsers to crash. Some people are going to be checking out the site through their handheld device. Lastly, it has really poor loading times. I know everyone pretty much has broadband now, but it doesn't matter. Website speed is important and Flash is going to slow your loading times down. Wordpress has tons of plugins if you want to have a slideshow on your website. Use those instead of flash.

Also, I laughed when he said: "Make sure your website works on Windows AND PC.

Did I miss something? I re-watched it, maybe he said something that made another item?
