Are you offering any incentives to those that send you business? I'd like to know what others are doing and offering?

I have never offered a bonus, may not be a bad idea....:beerbang:

You will not be judged as a photographer by the pictures you take, but by the pictures you show.

I let wedding vendors such as florists, bakers, caterers, hotels, etc... use my photos for promotion at no charge. They send me a lot of business.

I don't advertise a referral bonus for private clients, but if someone keeps sending me business I'd be happy to give them a discount on a portrait session.

I keep a list of wedding photographers that have agreed with me to refer each other when we are already booked for a date. No cash bonus, but a you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours' situation.

I hand out discount cards to my clients. So if they referal new clients, those new clients get a discount and if that other client comes back they get a discount for referring someone.

I give time limited incentives now and again, usually just £20 for any refferals that are sent to me within say 3 months, so I will post it on facebook that anyone referring a wedding to me with a successful booking by July 15th 2012 will recieve ?????
It works on occassions and of course sometimes it doesnt :toocrazy: :toocrazy: :toocrazy:
