Where are you finding the most productive advertising for your photography business?

I'm looking to get my name out there more. Have any of you tried advertising on the theater movie screens? Bus stop benches?

I have done some online searches and there are so many. Not sure where to start. I'll wait to hear suggestions here.

I've done some Facebook ads that were "OK" at best. There are some free directories out there that I've not seen anything from. There are also paid directories, but I'm still researching to see which actually work.

An effective Facebook page, that you run yourself can be a lot more effective than their advertising. You can use this to target people in your area, and then get them to help you promote either through doing work for them, or talking to them. It seems that everyone has a FB page these days, and if you do work for them you can turn them into a foot soldier for your business!!

Facebook Page is good, but it sounds like you are looking for much more major advertising if you are considering. Bus stops and movie theaters. The cost is very high.... :beerbang:

You will not be judged as a photographer by the pictures you take, but by the pictures you show.
