A few abstract shots

Ok I have never really tried doing abstract but the past few days I have been playing with it, so let me know what you think. These were done by playing with the curves.

and a kaleidoscope edit this is becoming a new favorite way to play. :toocrazy:

Interesting. Amazing that you could get those colors from the curves... :judge: :thumbsup:

Something about #2 draws me in. The others son't seem to carry as much abstract power, if that makes sense?

MJ thanks I do understand what you are saying. I shouldn't have included #3 in this thread, I should have done a kaleidoscope thread for it. I would not call it abstract.

Charles the following shot was also done in curves I did it in 4 steps;
With RGB channel I puled the left side up so that the image was white then I puled the middle down (it was then green and blue)
Next I did the same as above on the red, blue and green channels individually.
This is the result.

BTW on #2 I had forgotten that I had started off by turning it in to a negative image.
