Twistin the lens

Just a fun thing to try. As you are taking a slower exposure just turn your lens when the shutter is open.

When you "twisted the lens, did you mean "zoomed" while the shutter was open?

That's what I did to get this one. (centered on the flower, zoomed, then cropped fro composition).
Yours is awesome.

Thanks all. No I didn't use a tripod just a passing idea I had , didn't really know if it would turn out. Chas I love that you see me as a fellow mad scientist!! Yes just zoomed when the shutter was open. I really like your flower picture, the word groovy comes to mind!

I had posted about zooming during exposure last year. I tried to find my original post to no avail....Here's what I posted in that thread....I used to do these all the time when I shot film...It's even easier now with digital...
