Thanks. Yes I did get the prop movement, and Its not easy. Slow shutter speed with a fast moving object. But with a couple thousand shots, I manage to get a few good ones!

The shutter speeds I use are typically 1/200 or slower, depending on the angle and speed of the plane. Yes, I am panning, and after many years of practice, and literally thousands of photos I can now count on a few photos like this. My sucess rate would go up with a higher shutter speed, but that freezes the props, which is a no no when capturing images of planes in flight. A good subject to practice with is birds. Smaller, and fast, they will help you improve your timing and technique.
