:welcomeclan We love to see new members posting and getting involved.

This is very good. Good color and even some good bokeh on the left. I'm looking to find the focal point and it seems to be lost in the jar on the right or perhaps just in front of it. Which gives the focus a sort of soft focus which ruins the effect of depth a little. The lid on the right for example should be a point of sharpness. Still it is a fine photo, good color and exposure. Love the composition too. Well done... :judge:  :woohoo:

I really like this picture well done. I love the colours and the depth of field. Could be lacking a focal point though - I see Charle's point.

Thanks for your comment. What do you recommend to get the front focal point?? Im still new at learning aperature and such and this was actually my first photo that has some depth of field.

Great shot!

I think the comments are all about getting a point of real sharpness in the image. It could be one of two places, in my view - either the glass engraving on the first bottle should be really sharp (if you have live view and can zoom into the picture to confirm focus, that would help.)

Or, for a different look and feel, you could focus on the glass engraving on the second bottle in, so the first one goes out of focus a bit and your attention goes to the second one.

Both would look nice I think.

Aperture was great - any smaller and you would lose some of the nice out of focus effects in the distance.

My thought would be to focus on the second bottle, and leave the first and the rest behind OOF for the best effect, but what do I know? Great colour in these, and good setup for framing.
