Maybe they should tighten this bolt!

I was tooling around at the train bridge near my home and found that many of the bolts were like this one. This is a bridge that goes over water. Yikes! What do you think? Does the selective color work well with this?

Not sure John. At first I thought it had like 3 lock washers on it, but then it actually looks like some kind of coil. You can see at the bottom "plate that it is notched to prevent it from turning.....anyways, Im usually not a big fan of selective coloring (even though I post one of my old ones just today), but it does seem to work fairly well in your image..

Yep! They should!!! As for attracting the viewer eyes to that bolt I do believe that you did just the right thing and more.... Like selective focus, parallel lines and for sure the selective coloring is GREAT so YES you did it! Bravo!!

I agree with what the others said. Not a fan of selective colour usually (though I've done t myself). It can be used effectively though, as your picture proves.

I agree with everybody. I am not a fan of selective coloring. But in this case, it works! I really like this picture!
