The idea is not mine but I wanted to recreate the shot!

What can I do to improve this?

Great shot there kiddo... Might I ask the symbolic significance of the fork in the photo? :whistle:

Technically the shot looks flawless. Any improvements I might offer would be in the nitpicking area like the color of the napkin or perhaps some motion blur to the onions...:rofl:

I like it Dori! I guess the knife would be the father and the fork, the mother. If that were my daughter's egg and her boyfriend's onions, he would get the fork first followed by the knife haha.

Good point on the napkin, I should have toned it down. How would I create motion blur?

iirc you would do it through a layers mask. I know there are tons of youtube videos on it but of course, I cant get to youtube from a government computer at the moment :slapface:
