Shoot the Moon!

There's an article with a catchy headline about astrophotography on the website. I took a look and realized that it really over simplifies a very complex aspect of photography. I've dabbled in this specialized version of photography and while I don't know everything, I do know that getting good images is time consuming and technical (nto to mention lots of trial and error). I've been experimenting with the simpler forms of this, and have had limited success. Lately, I tried connecting my Canon 60D directly to my telescope and using a special mount, connecting my Canon point and shoot to the telescope and shooting through the eye piece. Here are a couple of photos:







I'll post more photo's as I continue to work with this unique form of photography.
