Food photography: Coffee bean Orange

11 years 7 months ago - 11 years 7 months ago #251605 by Alex
I've been reading this Plate to Pixel book and decided let's do some food photography this weekend. It was to hot to do much else.

So here's my go at it:

Taken with Nikon D800 , Nikon 105mm , SB800, SB900 and Triton Flash

Very cool shots :judge:

You will not be judged as a photographer by the pictures you take, but by the pictures you show.

I like the composition of the first one the best too. Besides having breakfast, if you save the coffee and oranges you can develop film. I'm not kidding! - there are people using coffee and orange vitamin tablets to develop film. The results I've seen are sort of murky brown so I haven't felt inclined to run film thru developer while I'm having breakfast - this photo shoot might be a better idea!

I like the colors in these. Like the darks against the bright pop of fruit. Good shots!
