What's in the background?

Hm. Not getting this at all. The product name is obscured, and the divided frame results in the blue area (which has the highest level of contrast) drawing my eye away from the bottle.

@garyhook: Do you always need to see whole bottle or product name? :) Are all product/advert photos like you said?

@Stealthy Ninja: background is one of my printed images  :) Actually it's this one:

Thanks for your comments :)

You requested an appraisal, and I supplied one. I didn't ask for an argument in return. And what others do (what other images contain) has nothing to do with this image. My comments were based on this image alone, thinking that it was one of your advertising images. If it was not, but rather just an image, then ignore my comment about the product name. Everything else still applies.

The background is a nice touch. Feels like it's in a 1980s night club or something :D

Argument? I'd rather call it discussion - this is forum right? :) It's not advertising picture - just few minutes of fun in the studio :)

Funny enough - this picture with two glasses won photo competition "Seeing double - reflections" and one of the judges said that when he saw this picture he traveled in time back to the 80's :)

Well...it worked the same way for you then Stealthy Ninja :)

The 80s were cool.  Pretty horrible fashions though.  HAH

yea i agree with garyrhook, looks more like a snapshot though, it doesnt really catch the attention as a powerful photograph..besides that the only cute thing is that blue background ..

Looks sharp to me. The DOF is shallow though, but that's a good thing.
