What do you do with this?

So I've had this image on VB for a while, and it's been posted here on PT. Someone commented on it today, stating "nothing amazing i'm afraid".

What do you do with that? I mean, who, after looking through most of a gallery containing 142 images, picks out just one and writes that? I think the fact that it garnered attention belies the comment.

That image doesn't belong to any contests, and was added a while ago.

Man, people are funny.

I'm rather found of the image.  I like how simple, and well composed the shot is.  The colors work for me.  One persons comment hardly warrants any loss sleep over if you ask me.  Even if mine wasn't positive, I wouldn't have worried about it.  Everyone has an opinion.

Thank you very much! I just thought it was a very odd comment, given the circumstances, so I was curious as to whether I was missing something (which is certainly possible). And consdering the fact that someone else labeled it an "Absolute Masterpiece", I'll just be amused.

Yes, the image is very nice actually. Maybe he was implying it's nice but not amazing?

Not sure if this is the correct thread for this: MY FB and a few other links seem to have been compromised. Seeing FB comments and Canon User Group comments that were not made by me.

Gary, that is a FINE photo. Beautiful light, great colour.
If someone makes a statement of authority, I go and look at his level of expertise.
I did go and look. Sour grapes?
