Everything is so dormant here; so went on a Lancaster Safari to "shoot" some local "big game" in our agricultural county.

Nice image. Fortunately you will not have to worry about the wild animals eating you. Sometimes when I can't remove distractions when I am taking the shot, I will practice exercising my image editing to try and remove them in post.

I like that composition a lot, r1ch! It really does make a big difference in condensing them that way. I go back and forth with the whole original vs edited. In the next few days, there's a picture I'll be posting where I edited out a cow in the foreground because it was too distracting. I've been eating up this YouTuber's PS videos -

You had it right. Your eye wanted three cows. There is a rule of threes. Better to have 3 similar objects instead of 2 or 4.

I use On1 photo raw editor. It has an AI erase option that you paint of the object and it fills it in. It works pretty well. If not I use the clone stamp tool which photoshop has when the AI erase tool doesn't work.

Good luck learning photoshop. It is a big program.

Three things ... 1). thank you for the article. I just read it. 2). PLUS thank you for the website. I never heard of Institute of Photography. Three years ago, I took four 2-year courses with New York Institute of Photography, but I would like to get a little more training so I'll be checking IOP deeper later today. Lastly, I love PS's tools. I could spend all day on it. 3). I just bookmarked On1 website to check it out as well. I never heard of it. I appreciate anything about which I can learn more; so thank you, r1ch!
