Castle At Night

This is my first attempt at night photography. There's a lot of room for improvement but I'm quite pleased with the result. Hopefully next time I'll get more stars in the sky.

The dramatic lighting made this shot very creative and unique.

Beautiful job getting the castle in low light, really creates a nighttime mood that fits the subject.

G'day mate

I think that you have done remarkably well here ... the bright light has not blown out and you have good detail throughout the stonework of the building itself. Choosing shortly after sundown so that you also have residual sky light has also created a beaut result

Keep 'em coming :)

This was taken at 1am. Apart from a few lampost there was no further light. The hardest part was the wind. There was quite a strong breeze and I had to shorten the shutter speed to get a semi-decent photo.

Jealous, wish there were castles around where I'm at.  This is a great night shot, the stars I don't think would have been exposed so well unless you did multiple shots to blend in.
