Taken a few months ago. What could I do to improve it?

I would be curious to see what increasing the contrast might provide. Deeper blues with lighter sunlight. The clouds would take on a little drama as well. While you're at it try shifting the WB a little hotter.

The other thing you could try (if the original is a raw image) is to create three versions 1 stop apart and then blend them with an HDR program like Nik HDR Efex. It will exaggerate the contrast much more than modification of the contrast control will give you.

You can get effects like this (although this was taken with three separate images).

Thanks! Sadly, the original was not shot in raw. I also failed to save the unedited version.

Ahh, pity - the colors are really nice. I'm with Chas then - boost the contrast, and maybe try to make the blue a little deeper with a hue/saturation change focused just on the blues.

If you have photoshop Dori then use curves, turn that diagonal line into a gentle S curve then tug the bottom of the curve a little further until you have thunder clouds.
Also save a copy as it is cos its lovely.
