Matt will like this...

Mmm the second one is very interesting. I'm sure Georgia O'Keeffe would have something to say about it. ;)

The wife to Alfred Stieglitz. Yes, she did some pretty landscapes, and flowers too!!

What pano pgm are you using?

I just resize the canvas and clone in the ends on the center. I'm real careful to keep the same horizon and everything level. Still the exposures were not matched very well but I made a few adjustments. Next time I'll set the exposure the same on all of them.

You can easily see the connection to Saul Leiter.

vimeo.com/18304674

Both break all the rules.

:)

BTW an artist doesn't "steal". We borrow, or get inspired by. When you need to be inspired, simply borrow from the great ones. Those who are already on the train.

I really like a lot of Jay's work. I can't say the same for Saul. I like some, but most look like stuff my mom and dad threw away because they didn't mean to trip the shutter. I think a lot of what people think was brilliant creative thought was nothing like that. I think they were just snapping away.

Oh, BTW, love the image Santa but expect a bill from my chiropractor in the mail real soon.:watching:

Shadow, I was in a museum where they had Rauschenbrg's "White Painting" and talking to the guard.

He told me how one lady said out loud, her 5 year old could do that! I'm sure many others thought the same.

The guard replied, "Then he should have".

Very nice, however the horizon on the first seems a little off, and on the second is WAY off!!!

That's why he was a guard.
