Most will not realize how tough this shot is. I do.

You balanced the lighting very well. Kept the verticals straight. You did what we architectural photographers attempt to accomplish. And it's fine.

Could you do it better? Maybe with other tools. With the tools you had to work with, you did an incredible job.

:)

BTW I used to assist for Architectural Digest shooters. I know this game well.

Honestly, speedlights aren't a limitation. I shoot at ISO 400 with little or no noise, and f/6.3 is a good starting point to allow the balance between ambient and flash.

I use speedlights because they're lightweight, versatile, and as powerful as I need. I can move a lot quicker than would be possible with pack-and-head or even monolights.

Also, these aren't AD shoots... I'm shooting every room in a 2,000 s.f. house in about an hour and a half. A shot like this one would take about 5 minutes, assuming I don't have to spend a lot of time clearing clutter or re-arranging furniture.
