I like the view, but the photo is kind of bland. Not much going on and the sky has no clouds it just looks like a snap shot

That's what I was thinking as well. It was a beautiful sunny day, but I couldn't get the blue in the sky to come out with the buildings. Any tips on how I could achieve this?

Circular Polarizing filter. Get one and shoot with the sun at far camera right or far camera left. It will help. ;)

It is what it is.

A circular polarizer will help. Another important piece of advice: bright sunlight is not your friend when it comes to photography :)

If you shoot closer to sunrise or sunset, then you'll be able to shoot with the sun at far camera right or left as McBeth said.

Hmm... Very interesting. Thanks again for the tips. :) I'll have to get a polarizer and try it out. Does anyone have any suggestions on a certain polarizer I should get, brand, type, etc.?

B&W, Tiffen or Hoya, don't go cheap on a circular polarizer. B&H, or Adorama will have what you need.....;)

Why so serious?
