Is the black and white to high pitch ?

Yes, the contrast is near lithographic. One of the things that makes a B&W sing are all the tones that can be reproduced.

However, if a litho-style image was your goal, you've succeeded!

Having said that, I think you should go back and rework this picture Laura.
I see a lot of potential here.

I can't really say that a litho-style was my goal ... what I was trying to go for was a contemporary abstract sort of feeling without being too abstract ....I felt like there was a lot going on with the lines and the shapes .... I thought going with such a contrast would draw attention to that aspect ... but, perhaps I have gone a little overboard ... I really appreciate the feedback !

I get that. I was noticing the fading pattern of the white building on the right; the strong edges are nice. The cars take away from that aspect a bit, but it's neat overall.
