Beautiful Sun Rays

Here's a few photos I took back in July. I love the colors in the sky. What can I do to improve my evening shots?

Thanks so much. :) I don't think I'll ever see another sunset quite like that one again. The sky was absolutely gorgeous. :woohoo:

Most peoples' sunset shots tend to be achingly plain, but yours are marvelous. I might change a couple minor things, but the shots are printable the way they are.

It's not easy to improve on something that's already this good!

These are gorgeous shots. I would be proud to claim anything even half this good.

Since you are asking for some help in improving I might suggest a graduated neutral density filter (GND) to darken the sunlit skies and improve the exposure on the bottom half of the frame. I'd just try this as an experiment so you can see the possibilities. I know it helps me when shooting into the sun.

I got my Cokin GND filter kit about a month after I took these shots. The filters do make a world of difference in the foreground of my shots. Thanks so much for your wonderful comment.
