Water....taken up on the Sandy River in Phillips, Maine. Doesn't look very sandy, does it?:)

Thank you John, actually, the green trees are Pine Trees-they're green year round. Maine is also known as the Pine Tree State. :)

Wow, the contrast between the trees is amazing. Its funny, Im originally from North Carolina and ALL of our pines trees turn brown in the fall haha. Beautiful shot again Shanna..

I like how you've managed to capture the sense of action and speed while not totally turning the water to silk and missing out on the movement of the water The use of the rock in the foreground is also very nice. The only shame is the sky is a little dull (not your fault).

Thank you so much Adrian, I appreciate you commenting on this. Yeah, I wish the sky was more dramatic, the left side was pretty blown out in one spot so I "fixed" it but it is a bit boring. I couldn't believe how the water was raging through there though, it kind of puts things into perspective as to how small we really are. So much power & force behind that water..... :)
