Nice series Joie,what no people riding the trains?!!!Guess you don`t know the trick of shooting people
in public so here goes...Get a wide angle lens,prefocus..switch to manual focus....hold your camera level and shoot!!

The series makes me wish my area had a subway system. :thumbsup:

I like #2, I think another version that would also look cool is if the train was moving faster and/or shutter speed was slower.

That is something I thought of, but I did not have a lot of time, was heading to work after attending a photo seminar at B&H Photo. These shots were handheld, so longer shutter speeds would have been harder. I did shoot one shot on a slower shutter speed and it came out decent, but you can't really tell there is a train in the shot. Maybe I will post it here for you all to see. Even if I could hold the camera still, there is still the shaking of the subway station as the train(s) pull in and out. The platforms do shake, especially if you have multiple trains pulling in at the same time. We shall see...
